Who’s Behind the Camera?

I picked up my first camera at nineteen while studying photography at college, and the rest, as they say, is history. Since 2010, I’ve been fully immersed in wedding photography, capturing those gorgeous, real moments that make each day unforgettable.

Here’s the thing: I don’t just photograph weddings—I love weddings. I thrive on the buzz, the banter, and meeting everyone from your nan to that one mate who’s always at the bar. My style? Spontaneous, relaxed, and real, with a dash of cheekiness, a splash of fun, and a whole lot of heart. And while I love capturing the unpredictable magic of the day, I also make sure to create those portraits that you’ll treasure forever—the ones that get framed, shared, and cherished for years to come.

When I’m not snapping away, you’ll find me cooking up a storm, lifting weights in the gym, or hill walking—my go-to for clearing my head and finding fresh inspiration.

I live with my fiancé, Iris (yep, we’re planning our own wedding—wish us luck!), and our three boys: JJ (James Junior), Silas (pronounced See-Lass), and our littlest tornado, Magnus. Life’s busy, chaotic, and pretty amazing.

Your wedding day—the one you’ve spent months (maybe years!) planning, dreaming about, and pouring your heart into—will fly by in the blink of an eye. That’s why having a photographer who can capture the unique story of your day is so important. This is a once-in-a-lifetime event, and I’m here to make sure your memories are preserved with unforgettable, inspired images.

With over 300 weddings under my belt, I’ve learned a thing or two about making sure everything runs smoothly while keeping things fun and relaxed. I’m not the kind of photographer who bosses people around or disappears with you for hours to pose for endless photos—that’s not my vibe. I’m here to document your day as it unfolds naturally, while still making time for those beautiful portraits you’ll treasure forever.

I’m with you all day—because weddings don’t start at noon or wrap up at 8pm! From morning prep to the wild dance floor moves in the evening, I’ll be there, capturing everything. I’m flexible and always up for a laugh, but above all, I want to make sure you have a collection of images that tell the story of your day perfectly.

Building a great connection with my couples is key. No question is silly, and no request is too much—this is your day, and it has to be just right. I can’t wait to hear from you and be part of one of the most incredible days of your life.

Weddings don’t happen in eight tidy hours. They kick off with early morning prep, flow through the ceremony and family moments, survive the dreaded best man’s speech, and end with that unforgettable first dance (and maybe a few questionable moves at the buffet later on). I’m here to capture it all—every laugh, tear, and cheeky glance.

Little Extras, Big Impact

Night Shot & late night Dancing

We will head out after the buffet in almost any weather conditions and capture creative photographs in the dark. As this sometimes requires darkness, I will also cover up to the final dancing of the night. That moment of the last dance, where everyone is in a circle and happy.
